911 Carrera w/G50 needed for magazine story

Hello all,
I am putting together an Eighties sports car comparison that will compare a Ferrari 328, 911 Carrera and a C4 Corvette. I am looking for a 1987/88 Carrera with G50. The story is for Sports Car International.
The car needs to be located in Southern California/LA area. The owner needs to be willing to let me briefly drive the car for driving impressions, but no abusive stuff. Basically it will involve a morning and afternoon for the photography and driving. Probably shoot up around Mulholland. I already have the Ferrari lined up and am now looking for the Porsche and Corvette. The 911 needs to be mostly stock (chip, lowered, OK). This will probably happen in the next few weeks. If anyone is interested, drop me an email at zmayne@yahoo.com. You can check out www.zacharymayne.com for info about me.
Thanks!

I think mine is a bit too modified for your comparison but if you get in a bind...

nice car. yea, 3.5 is too modified. Do mind if I ask what type of rig you used for the photo? Is that the European Car project 911?

Yup. One and the same.

BTW, Ralph, that is one of the best pics I've ever seen of any 911 anywhere!

I have a white '89 G50 Carerra coupe, which is virtually identical to the '87 & '88. Stock except for a Monty exhaust and Steve Wong chip. Looks sharp in photos. I've worked with magazine writers/photogs before. I'd take a day off of work for something cool like this...would love to be there with you when you do the photo shoot/comparo. Live in Riverside but could make the drive easily. Here's some pics:

Sent you an email.

I can't tell you all the details about the camera, as the photography is credited to Rob Hallstrom from Primedia.

I'm trying to attach an image that shows how it was done, but Pelican won't let images be posted right now? It's giving me some sort of an error message

Suffice to say, the engine isn't even running (too much vibration) and I'm simply in the car rolling it forward in neutral(it was slightly downhill).

I will vouch for Kelly's car (kg911), his black on black coupe is original and in very nice condition. It would look good amongst the Vette and Ferrari.

Another vote for kg911's car. Very nice stock black G50 911. Orange County guy.
