Need help- Turbo exhaust studs...

I took off my muffler off to fab a dump pipe. While I was reinstalling my muffler, I snapped 3 of the four exhaust studs on my turbocharger (K27-7200). I drilled them out, cleaned out the threads (M10x1.50 tap)-then I snapped the fourth stud with the stud remover...drilled/tapped it out as well.

I want to put stronger exhaust studs in the turbo. I will most likely be removing my muffler and bolting on the dump pipe and vice versa alot.

Are there any stronger studs out there that are better resistant to galling (when removing the nut) and the heat cycle damage that the turbo inflicts on them?

I'm going to call ARP in Ventura, CA for some advice, but thought I'd check here to see if maybe someone went through all this before?

I use lots of anti-seese and if a nut is stuck I use heat. You need oxy-acetelene. Poopane doesn't cut it.

You might want to try:
Use specially alloyed steels designed to resist high temperature
oxidation and high-temperature relaxation in these applications. Use ASTM A 193 grade B16 alloy steel externally threaded fasteners and ASTM A 194 grade 7 nuts at temperatures up to 1,000°F. If corrosion is
a problem, ASTM A 453 grade 660 stainless steel fasteners provide corrosion resistance up to 1,200°F.

Thanks Nine9six, That's the info I'm looking for.

Cheers,
