thermostat saver
I am getting a lot of oil leaks around the external thermostat after a spirited run. I suspect that the connections between the lines and the thermostat are not well sealed.
Has anyone have experience with Pelican Thermostat Saver?

They are used to salvage a tstat with damaged threads. They are not leak-stoppers.
If your threads are still in good shape, just tighten the fittings a bit till the leak stops. note the threads do not make the seal.

Thanks Chuck I know that. I have a feeling that my threads will be damaged when I open up. I was hoping for some comments about how effective these things are in regard to salvaging damaged threads.
