Andrew,

While those H1 lenses would physically fit on your H4 lamp assembly, the Fresnel lens molded into them is not designed for the H4 bulb position, so the pattern would be completely ruined and not focused ... glare and hot spots, and uneven, unlit spots as well!

Much better to order a pair of H4 lenses from out host, IMO!

Yes, they will fit and work. I bought some of those. The real H1's have a clear section at the bottom with no fluting. Those on eBay have the fluting just like the H4's. I have every lens made here, clear or yellow, H1 or H4, including the plastic ones (not the covers) that I use for the track.

Those on eBay are also darker in color and a little bit more gold than the real yellow H1's. Those are not NOS IMHO, but some copies and they have an H4 pattern. I'll get my car out tomorrow and take pics if anyone doesn't believe me.

Thumbs up Thanks Zeke!

I saw a 76 930 on Long Island Oak Green that had been imported new from France and it had the yellow lenses. Looked odd at first to me then the odd started to change to wow what a cool look.

Are they street legal in the US?

THANKS AGAIN

Andrew
