98 C2s

Hey Guys

Looking at possibly buying a 98 C2S. 19K miles Black/Black coupe. perfect condition no wrecks all maintenance done on schedule. Was wondering what a fair price would be. KBB price seem pretty low ball for what they are actually going for.

Thanks

If a PPI checks out, and it still is stock or has tasteful mods, I'd say High fifties, low 60's.

Wow that much. Yeah I fly back to Memphis next week to check it out. From what I know it is pristine.

Thanks

I'd say Mr. Roman is pretty close to spot on. But, deals are out there.
What is the seller asking?

You've pretty much picked the worst of the best...
Worst meaning expense; best meaning most desirable of the NA 993's.

The "S" models demand a premium... the C2S' more so than the C4S... ...plus it's a '98 (last year/newest of the 993's.)

Plus you're talking about a 19K car.

Yup, I'd say around $59-60K.

Their are no "fair' Prices for that car, but it still is a nice one. It doesn't offer much more in performance from a stock 993, so the premium in price is in the minimal production and exclusivity. If you buy one with low miles, you will be hampered by the accelerated depreciation that will occur on paying a premium versus the desire to just drive the thing. Look for one with more mile and a cheaper starting price so you don't turn it into a garage queen.

High 40's low 50's. This car is owned by a very good friend of mine. He has an added family member on the way and needs to buy a mommy car. I would say if it all checks out it would be a good deal. He just did the brakes and put new SO-3's on it. If I do this what can you tell me are the main differences you noticed between the 911 and the 993 ie; performance, maintenance cost etc.

thanks
