Megasquirt V3/MSII config file needed

I'm building a 930 engine for my 82 911SC and will be using the Megasquirt V3/MSII ECU for spark (dual plugged) and fueling (50# injectors).

Would any of you megasquirters be willing to share a starter config file with me? I understand that it would be just to help get the rough parameters set up and that tuning for each engine is different. If so, please email to mike@pickettweb.com. Any tips will be appreciated. I'll post anything I come up with so others can get a start, too.

Edit - I've added a picture of the "poster engine" to generate sympathy for the cause. Many thanks, Mike

Mike, you are way ahead of me so can't really help. But I'm going down pretty much same path - MS v3 but without the MS-II board.
I'll look for help with map too in a month or 2

No problem. I'll be glad to share when I get something together. Any pics of your build, yet?

A question about dual plugging.

I've done some reading about V3/MSII and I understand that MS II can directly control the coil - whereas going the MsnSExtra requires an ignition control module to control the spark (as in the EDIS solution). How do you plan to implement MSII with dual plugging (double the coils?)

Thanks

alphie, there a pretty good dual plug thread over on the megasquirt forum. There's also a nice thread here on Pelican, too. Mike Bonkalski is one of the experts in this area.

I'm planning on using the EDIS with 2 coils but haven't worked out the exact layout yet.

Still accepting any .msq files that folks want to share. Tip of the hat to Brad Brown sending me his MS V2 config!

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
My engine is still in pieces so not many pics. Will post some as I get further. On the ignition front, I'm planning on using MS to directly controls the coils via VB921's.

Mike, I may have someting for you soon. I am not doing the work myself but am in the final (hopefully) stages of MSEFI with dual plug on my 930. I'll ask the guy doing the work if he can get me a copy of the starter file.

Kirk

Thanks Kirk. I'd appreciate it a lot.

Tony, I'm using a Carerra 3.2 intake set up with a real throttle position sensor (Bosch 0280122001).
