Yeah, projected to last a couple years, and its not just cloth, plastics too. At work we had to do a bunch of work to change parts from carbon filled plasitics to glass filled. suck fest supreme.

I've been suffering from this for a while The stuff I have been getting comes from Canada and it sucks - the weave is way too loose.

Virgin plastics has been tough to get for quite some time. I know a few people in the business and when they order a few trailers full of the raw pellets they're lucky to get one.

Yep. Toray Industries is traded on the Japanese Exchange, as is Mitsu Rayon. I've had close to 100% gain in Toray over the last 6 months.

I've used US Composites (mentioned above) and also http://www.fibreglast.com/. Both good sources.

This may sound weird, but i went to lowes and purchased the fiberglass shower repair kits because it comes with the nice twill cloth in about 4inch wide by 2foot lengths.

The kits from Lowes (or from your local auto store) do contain a fiberglass sheet (not carbon fiber) but the fiberglass is usually a cheap and loose 1x1 standard weave.

The name twill is usually reserved for 2x2 or broader weave.

Ti shortages are predicted also - all this caused by increased use in comm. aviation.
