Very Strange Electrical Gremlin

So, where should I look first to track down this one?

While my wife has been driving the car ('74 Carrera Targa) a bit lately, work had me out of town, so I drove it for the first time in months yesterday. In so doing, I found a new electrical issue.

When you turn on the turn signals, the way it's supposed to work is that the little arrows on the tach blink on and off in synch with the directional lights... but now, when they blink on, everything is OK, but when they're on the "off blink", the OIL PRESSURE LIGHT goes on... very strange.

Similarly, when you pull up on the e brake, the red brake light is supposed to flash... but now, the light blinks between the two... that is to say, if you're looking at the two lights, you see red-green-red-green... etc.

Green light goes off when the e brake is off or the directionals are off... I'll be home again next weekend and can break out the volt/ohm meter... but where would you look first?

Grounds. Also, If any bulbs have been replaced lately check for the correct bulb base: one contact where two contacts should be used.

I'd probably go after grounds first wth a grounded jumper wire probing around the circuit.

if I found a dirty ground connector I'd probably measure voltage drop for entertainment.

I don't think I'd trust using a ohm meter across a dead circuit ground connector as the meter current would be to low for a good reading.
