Okay... they're a little tuner-ish in the color choices, but they're cheap.

I wouldn't trust my life to a cheap, untested product... so don't worry about me rushing off to buy a set!

However, I think that, though most of the time you 'get what you pay for', sometimes, just SOME times, you can actually find a great product for a lot less than comparable 'high quality' equivalents go for.

The one you linked above is $233.50 retail - so $99 sounds like a pretty good deal.

The V-racing "RUSH" series seats on the page I linked are $182.50 retail. And they are not untested. The RUSH seats are in fact, FIA certified for competition use.

The fixed-back seats have a deep-side design for additional lateral support, plus provisions for a 5-point racing harness. Other features include a strong steel frame and nylon upholstery. The Rush seats are FIA-approved for competition use.

I wouldn't have bothered posting about some crappy death-trap product. It may look like ricer junk, but some people are just looking for a bargain.
