What is the best upper Strut Brace for my Cab??

Hi All,
Quick question..

I am looking at installing a single bar, upper strut Bar on my 1989 Carrera Cabriolet..

What do you think is the best (strong, easy to install, easy to adjust at home if applicable, best looking, and durable)??

I am looking at either the Elephant or the Weltmeister are my first choice.

Thanks!! --Luis

p.s. No plans of racing it so I prefer to keep as much trunk space available for trips (ergo, the single bar versus the triangle design).

Luis, you've seen mine. It's a RENNLINE and I love it. It's ridiculously easy to install and looks very nice, imo. Anything to stiffen up the chassis of a Cab has to help.

Also, from what I've read on this board, beware of the Weltmeister strut brace. It's actually sold as the Cambermeister and it supposedly improperly limits the proper movement of the strut within the shock tower itself. Do a search if you want info.

Best of luck to you Luis.

I have an aluminum Rennline (available from PP) in my car. It is very nice. However, if you do not plan on competing in your car, not even autocross, save the money and do not take valuable trunk space away! That bar will take away a LOT of space, by blocking large items. The absolute volume lost to the bar isn't much, but unless you throw loose clothes in there, it really has a big impact on what you can take along!

Weltmeister in 930

I installed the Weltmeister in my 930, took about 30 minutes and the results we're very noticeable. Great bang for the buck.
