911 serial number identification chart
Looking for a site listing 911 serial numbers and their meanings. 930s.com has some info but is limited!
|
Congrats to your steelers. I don't know a location on the web that has the list, but if you have Bruce Andersons "Porsche 911 Performance Handbook," he goes through picking apart serial numbers. It is a book worth having if you are going to buy a 911 anyway. He has a full chapter on buying a used 911. Also if you post the numbers you are looking to find out about usually someone here knows the stuff by heart.

I found a link on Pelican parts that had a detailed breakdown, but now I can't find it!
Where in Colorado are you located? I lived out there for several years, really a nice state!! |

I live in Durango, Colorado. It is great down hear except we've had no snow this year. I grew up in PA but I lived in Philly the side of the state that has never won a superbowl.

You can spend forever on the web and find the info you need, but nothing beats the thorough, quick VIN and option/color code data available from the "Red Book". $11 from our host...best money you'll ever spend.
