At Idle, the oil pressure gauge will read at 1 bar or less. Normal.

What kqw said. If you don't like it, you can put the updated oil restrictors on the cam housings and you will bring it up by a bar. I did that and like it better. You can find the part here on PP, it is cheap too!

I agree with Rolon I have a hard time waiting for the oil pressure to rise.

Higher pressure = less flow. Since these engines are significantly oil cooled, if the low pressure warning is not coming on and you're not using oil I wouldn't screw with it.

What oil do you use?

I use 10W40 in my 2.0 1969 911T, and my oil pressure is normaly = RDM/1000: ad idle (1000 rdm) the oil pressure is 1 ad 2000 RDM it is 2 and so on

I think that if you use a 0W40 oil you will have less oil pressure

You should switch to 20W50. That will help! And without starting an oil discussion thread, many people use and recommend 20W50.
