As an aprentice I was taught that the panel wasn't straight untill you could read a newspaper in it. Looks like you've got that one as straight as any. Great work!

Frankly, you don't see that many perfect paint jobs any more. The last perfect paint I saw was on something like an El Camino at the Labor Day Cruze at the OC Fairgrounds. You could see the blades of grass in the paint as well as you could see them if you turned around, If you could see individual blades at 50 feet, then you could too in the paint. That's good paint. Oh, and the panel imaging was perfect as well. Totally seamless all down the sides or across the hood. Look at a phone wire and the droop was uninterupted all the way. I'm drifting OT a bit, but after looking at a LOT of Porsches of all vintages, I've concluded that the factory did not assemble cars with that kind of imaging. In fact, I beleive that all fender to door seams roll in toward each other a little bit. When I see a car that has perfect images, I see bondo under the paint. Nice work, Doc. It looks like the fun house mirror, LOL |
