Show me the pictures of your rear seat delete, installed

I am looking to do this mod on my car, would like to see it though, before I do it my self. Is this mod easy to perform? Tell me your install story.

I built a plywood platform with 1x4 framing to replace the back seats and covered it with felt. I did not ever use the back seats and wanted a place to mount speakers. When I did the RS carpet kit and removed the seat belt cover panel, it left gaps on either side and one day I may redo this to fill in the gaps and one day bigger speakers (8" subs to replace these 6.5" two-ways) but for not it works just fine. I have a large platform to put stuff, mount speaker and an amp and it cost about $10 for the felt as I had everything else already or went to a recycling store (to get the wood).

Here was my answer, these photos have been up here ages ago, sorry if you have seen them before.

I put the sub woofer in the top, the right and left channel speaker and a storage compartment in the face.

Here is what it looks like with all the junk ripped out...

It was a good chunk of dead weight...maybe 30-40lbs of rubber and junk.

After

Simple and clean. I did make some mistakes so the next time I do this I know to cut some of the pieces bigger. In the first picture the dark stuff in the seat area was water!
Excues the mess in the basement

Ray Crawford (rrcrawford70s) had a thread not long ago with a very nicely built back seat delete panel for '69 to '73 cars. He had a cutout on the sides to accomodate the seat belt retractors for the '73 car. I PMed him asking if he could make one without the cutouts. Never heard from him, but the materials & workmanship looked very good.
