993 Motor Sound feature factory option
 

What year did Motor Sound Package become a factory option? If a car is equipped with Resonant Induction System, is that a synonymus term for the Motor Sound feature? Were early 993's equipped with the traditional flat 6 motor sound as a standard feature? It appears to me that 1997 may have been the first year that Motor Sound was treated as a factory option. Is that correct? Thanks for any input.

Motorsound and the induction system are two different things. Mototrsound is an option of a different airbox and exhaust, but i do not know what year it started.
