Hi can anyone show me a thread on fixing my heater on a 1985 3.2 Carrera? The heater has the electronic box and not the cables, the flaps are ok on the exchangers. It will only blow hot which in the summer is over powering!! Thanks Ian.

It most likely is the plastic coupler that connects the electric motor link arm to the cables actuating the heater valves under the car. I had the same problem 3 years ago. The fix is simply take off the 4 screws holding down the control box and replace the the plastic coupler with the updated version for $2 US from Porsche dealer. Search under my username (tshih) postings and heater for Pelican thread.
