SoCal Windshield Shop
Can anybody recommend a Southern California windshield shop that not only has a good price but good service? After 29 years, my car deserves a fresh one...
Or I'd settle for some assurance that I could do it myself... Thanks, Scott

There's a place down here in SD called Elite Auto Glass (I'm pretty sure that's right) that did mine after a recommendation to use them. I called them up and they had a guy who knew Porsches. Sure enough, he knew exactly the deal - bent the frame into place with the rubber and string, then popped it on. He did both front and back in an hour or 2 I think and it was very reasonable.

its a simple job after the 1st one (lol) have done several....no mystery, in fact take your time and you will do a better job then any shop.....dab the corners with rust kill and stufffffffffffff.......the 1st one takes 2 people after that you will graduate to 1

there is a porsche windshield pro.... he took out my windshield in about 2 minutes and put the new one in, about 10 minutes.
new windshield and labor about 175.00 (and he will come to you)!!!! my buddy and i had our winshields done at the same time. i was referred to him from another porsche guy.... he works out of anaheim...... RJ AUTO GLASS 714-292-5811 doods name is RJ. |

I've got a glass guy who can come to you. He's very reasonable and good with 911's. New Era Auto Glass talk to Frank or his wife.

Looks like I'm going with New Era. I called and they have the galss, the time and the know-how. Oh and they'll come to my work...
