Luke - if you look on either side of the intercooler you can see the air filters that feed the turbos. The plumbing runs thru the rear of the side tins. That motor's a real peice of art.

Hi Luke, I don’t have any wheel clearance specific pictures but can take some if you want. My clearance issues were more with the oil take line versus the turbos. I’m not sure how my headers compare to the 993’s cause I made mine from scratch but I’m interested to know. All of the intake plumbing goes through the engine tin, no chassis cutting. Below are some more detailed pics of that part. Cheers.

Thanks Mark for the photos. I have used your website in the past for ideas on how I might achieve this. I didn't realize how close the tires might come to the installation until I got the headers bolted on and started mocking up the turbo install. Again this is on an engine stand and I have my 2.7 still in her for now. Really trying to build this as I continue to enjoy the MFI for a few more months.

Does the turbo actually go to the inside of your tires? Or is is all distal to the rear tires? How did you design your intake "bonnet" that might be my solution to getting it to turn north before the rear tire. I would certainly like to limit my cutting to the engine tin also.

I ended up going ITB's for the induction. Sadly I couldn't tell your final intent on your billet intake design marketing. It will make your work of art engine a master piece if added.

Thanks for your time either way but if you can get a photo over the next few weeks I would be appreciated.

Mark, how are you finding those polished heat shields now, after having been on the car since the conversion?

Are they still as shiney? ;)
