do these fuchs have any value

I still have a set of 14" fuchs in my shed that came on the 1970t i bought. i never see them for sale, is that because no one wants them? or are they hard to come by?

:)

They are not in big demand, but I would be happy to buy them if the price is reasonable.

Its more difficult to get tires for them now, but I think they look great on an early Porsche.

If you want to sell them, please email me with a price.

They were known as the comfort option. Most were used with high profile tires so as to cushion the ride.....

If you're on the west coast, send me a pic and I might be interested.....

I've got a set of 14s just collecting dust in the corner of my shop. Not much of a demand for them.

I put 14s on my 1968, keeping my original chromed steel wheels for show.

That said, the 14s have a slightly wider and shorter tire. Grip and steering responsiveness is improved, and the shorter tire changes the effective gearing and gives at least the feeling of slightly quicker acceleration. The only drawback is a higher RPM and the related noise level on longer highway drives (but then again, you could never hear yourself think at highway speeds in the early cars).

So they're worth something...If not to 911 owners, I believe they're a popular setup with some of the 356 crowd.

If you're curious, PM me and I tell you what I paid for a set of 4 with Bridgestone Turanzas.

Speaking of wheels.....I have a Speedster replica and I need some 6s and 7s in the five lug 5x130 Porsche lug pattern.....prefer 15s as I have tires that can be swapped on the new wheels.

Currently the replica has some cheesy Chevy wheels with 4-5lug adapters....GACK....

:)

I am still interested in these wheels if available.

Thanks,

They came standard on 911 E models.

I sold mine to a 356 guy for $75.00 each. He was happy to get them.
