stock spark plugs in the 964

Can anybody tell me what Bosch no. is stock in the 964?

Somebody with a 3.6L engine intheri 911 maybe?

FR 5 DTC,

and from model year '92,

14 FR 5 DTU.

Gap .7mm.

Thanks - is that one of those platinum plugs that people say are troublesome?

No, don't think so. The first number I gave you is a Bosch plug, not platinum. The second number is an alternative Beru plug. I've never had a problem with a Porsche-specified plug.

Usually you will see a "P" somewhere in the Bosch plug number if it has a platinum center electrode.

F = M14 x 1.25
R = Resistor
5 = Heat range
D = Thread length
T = Tri prong electrode
C = Copper

The gap on this plug is not adjustable.
