1 inch or 1.5 inch spacers should do the trick.

You can buy spacers right here at Pelican.

I have not done this, but saw a 73 at the glen that had bought a set of boxster 17's from Woods that included a set of 1/4" spacers and fit nice all around. Woods (Wheel Enhancement) has this package on his homepage, and there are a ton of those wheels out there. The car I saw had no flaring and was running 225's with no problem. I was locked into 15x7's at the time, but was very tempted.

This is a 74 narrow body, no SC flares. I have sold the car but ran spacers on the back but only to clear my oil lines and 15mm up front. No problems whatsoever. Wheels were 7X16 w/ 205/55X16.

I needed some new tires for my 911, and found a good deal on some Boxster rims. The fit fine though could use a spacer up front (center caps interfere with the bearing cap). No flares.

John Walker. That speedster is a rare bird. I think they made less than 100 without the turbo body kit and imported even less.
Nice color, nice ride!

My 944 race car is an oddball- The rear has been changed to late offset while the front is still the original early offset.

I use Boxster wheels for getting on and off the trailer, and use 1" spacers in the front.

The 914 guys use them after they convert to five lug....1 inch up front, 1.5-2 in the rear.....depending on tire size.

i made the rear bumper using 73 corner pieces blended into SC extensions and the center section is cut from a 73 front bumper and welded in between the ends. the rear apron is sheetmetal. stock S front bumper.
