Any wide bodied 964s?
Porsche created a widebodied 30th anniversary car for RoW but I've seen U.S. brochures advertising the turbo look as an option, possibly just for 1993.
Anyone got one? Here's my 30th anniversary car. ![]() |

Porsche offered the car in the US in 1994. It was essentially a Carrera 4 with turbo fenders and some similarities to the turbo in the chassis details, although there were some differences in the brakes and wheels. There was no tail fitted. They made something like 200-300 cars.
Here's a picture of one: ![]() Cheers, JR |

Hey Javadog, do you know that car??
If I am correct, thats for sale in Colorado. I was interested in it but seems a bit rough with no records. http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dda/detail.jsp?result_car_id=null&dealership_view_name=www.millenniumautosport.us&car_id=193056122&dealer_id=43695802

Monza-dh,
Yes, that's the same car. I talked to them about the car a couple of months ago and looked into it's history a bit. The car is a one-owner car that was ridden hard and put away wet. The original owner is a bit of a jerk, in my opinion. I spoke to the shop that serviced the car and they said he spent the money when and where needed but it needed quite a bit. He was pretty hard on clutches, in particular. At some point, the car was hit on the right side, to the extent that the right door was replaced and the fenders needed work. The quality of the repair work was so-so, in the eyes of the guys I talked to. The dealer wouldn't negotiate at all on the price so I didn't pursue it. The price has come down a little in the last couple of months. JR |

Thanks Javadog! I'll stay clear from that one. I noticed the roadrash on the rear bottom fenders and the new non-leather shift knob.
Still looking!!
