Question Oil level gauge 73.5 t

I'm wondering if it is normal for the oil level gauge not to register any reading until car is at operating temp? Once my car hits operating temp it shows proper level in tank. Anything less than 180 it shows nothing.

Also wondering if anyone has any idea on how to get a new washer pump to attach to the reservoir.

Thanks
David

Lusso,

My level gauge rarely indicates anything until the engine is hot.

David,

The oil level gauge is only a convenient indicator.
Correct oil level reading is by checking the dipstick with the motor warm (180 - 210 deg) , the car on level ground , and at normal idle.
Read your owners manual for a complete explanation.

Cheers,
Dennis.
