speedometer question...
 
I'm curious what rims/tires were stock on an 85 carrera targa? I'm trying to find out what the speed difference is with the news rims/tires.

Fronts were 6x15 with either 185/70 or 195/65
the rears were 7x15 with 215/60

7x15f 8x15r were an optional size
6x16f 7x16r were also an optional size

Sure they were the same size, but for 1984 the tire sizes on the optional 16s were 205/55-16 front and 225/50-16 rear.
