Alignment & Corner Balance??

Hi All -

I had a tie rod replaced on my 75 911s last fall and the shop did a full alignment on the car during the process. Shortly after my car went into the body shop for the winter for a complete strip and repaint.

It's almost done (just in time for spring driving here in MN!) and during that process, I have purchased a new set of 16x7 Fuchs for the car. These are replacing the stock 15x6 Fuchs that were/are currently on the car.

My question - should I get another full alignment and possibly a corner balance once the new wheels go on and the car comes out of the shop?

Thanks!!

There shouldn't be a need for a full alignment. The rolling diameter of the old (15") setup should be almost identical to the new (16") setup, just more rim and less tire, so none of the alignment settings should be affected.

Of course, if the full alignment you had performed last fall didn't include a corner balance, I'd at least suggest they check the weights.
