Question old, slim PORSCHE decals: tft.font?

I want to build my own decals.

Any idea where to get a good .jpg or highres .pdf of the old, slim ===PORSCHE-KREMER=== door decals? The correct typo (tft.font) would be even better - if it exsists...

Thanks

Not sure if it is there but try www.brandsoftheworld.com lotsa cool stuff. Most of the files are in vector format to enable direct import to a vinyl cutter.

Using the web address & then the search button I could not find Porsche.

Using the "LINK" I got the correct page, but I can only get the "turbo" script to display.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Len

Exactly like this! You are the man! Thanks!

If you have it in a even better resolution could you please send it to don.tango@netcologne.de? Thank you very much.

Toni,

If you're stuck, you might be able to turn that image into hi-res. Because it's all literally black and white (i.e. no shades of grey), it's really easy to increase the size in photoshop and retain the crispness of the original. Basically, convert to greyscale, increase the size (change size, not zoom in), then increase the contrast. Do it in that order, so that when you increase the contrast photoshop has more pixels to work with in rounding edges, otherwise it'll look choppy.

Here's what I did in about 60 seconds with just the P and O:

This is at 400%, but would work even better (in terms of rounding edges) at a much higher resolution. I would think you could go as high as you want.

Hope this helps!

Chris

Top left of P at 1200%:

This would print 2.165 x 2.831 inches.

One other thought - you could make your own. Google "porsche.ttf" to find the "911 Porscha" font (that's not a typo, it's spelled with an A). If it's not exact, it's damn close. If you can't find it, email me.

i found one on porsche.ttf
that is called Porsche , not porscha...

www.plast.org.au/fonts/porsche.ttf

this is the one mentioned above, PorschA

http://laseric.free.fr/Download/Porsche.ttf ( the link is not the name of the actual TTF , if you open the font file , it says Porscha)

I guess somebody turned them in to the Porsche policia. As of today, none of the Porsche related stuff is coming up on their site.
