should i buy this crankshaft?

hi i recently bought a 89turbo with a bad motor. one of the rod bearings spun. instead of sending this crank out would it be cheaper and a wiser move to buy this crank? description is below WHat do you guys think? crank is about a $1000.

Magnafluxed and Polished (not use after)

It's in the grease and the saran

Crankshaft has been welded on #5 journal the reground to spec

In perfect condition

This crank fit on a 3.3L Turbo or a 3.2 L

Come from a porsche turbo 1988 with 50 000 miles

Come with 2 gear (like new)

not sure if this is relevant but there was a guy from the UK bought 3 cranks for his 3.2 before he finally found one that was good enough to use.

All sellers were genuine and had similar storys to the one you tell above as I remember.

Cant remember his name right now though - sorry

what if the guy has reciepts and also the how to rebuild your engine book recomends that you buy a used crank instead of fixing your because it wont be as strong and will wear quicker

find one that hasn't been traumatized for the same price.

you'll find a good virgin crank for a 3.2/3.3 turbo with a bit of time. It took me a few atempts at buying cranks to get myself a good one. (was it me jevvy?!) which is a costly excercise. phone around some reputable parts dealers too. don't forget the dizzy drive gears are different between 3.2/3.3's
