911 wiring
I am installing a 1973 2.4l updated to a 2.7l in my 1977 Porche and I am wondering what would be easiest, as they are both cis motors, to use the 1973 eng wire harness or to use the 1977 eng wire harness. I will have to do some rewiring either way. If anyone was has an idea or has done something similar please contact me.
Thanks John |

I think both of them will be very similar... Try to get a schematic and compare both 14 pin connectors. The only difference might be on the alternator wiring. 77 might have an integrated regulator built in. Don't remember what year they changed. Most of the other connections for gauges and reverse lights stayed the same for a number of years. Good Luck! Lou
