Installing Bilsteins with Boge Struts

May be making this more complex that this is....Just want to make sure that I am reading the instructions from Porsche 101-If I buy bilstein sports to replace the front stock Boge shocks, all I have to do disassemble the mount from the strut tower, pull the strut away from the front fender and the stock boge shock will just slide out???? What holds the bottom part of the shock to the strut? Gravity and or pressure?? Please explain/enlighten me to this design. Thanks!

Your information is correct. The strut is held in place by the strut housing cap. There is no room for it to move up and down or side to side.

Hi Kurt,

DO you happen to have the name list that goes with those pieces?

Thanks,

David

Thanks for the info. The names to the parts would be very helpful. Looks pretty straight forward to me.
