One last wire, pin 7 on 79 Euro SC
I am down to only one wire left to locate. I have a 2 prong plug on the engine wiring harness. It has a blu/wht wire and a brown/ white. The blu/wht leads to pin 7 on the 14 pin connector. Since I am changing an 84 3.2 to a Euro SC I have nothing in pin 7 to receive what ever it is. I do not find a reference to it anywhere. It does not appear to be airflow. That is another pin. Any ideas.
Thanks Bryan |

Just checked on a 2.7 to 3.2 wiring harness connection cheat sheet. #7 is not used. The brown-white wire is listed as the Sportomatic power source. Also lists a blue-yellow as the shift lever contact for the sporto. I would not worry about it. Good Luck! Lou

Bryan, I am starting fresh with sounds like maybe the same thing here. Any help you can provide would be great, do you have written down how you cross wired the car to motor. I have a 84 Carrera and harness and a 78 930 motor and harness. This is all I like to complete the transplant.

Yes but it is all hand written. Contact me off line at BDHender@comcast.net By the way the extra plug was for a Sportmatic tranny which I don't have
