993 heat exchangers and turbo setup

Seeing all the 993 HE's with their flanges flipped have me thinking about the ineffeciencies on my present turbo setup. I am using the fact. 3.2 he's with the proto j-pipe in place of my cat.

I was thinking, seeing slider's for sale post, how these might be adapted to a single turbo application. I could just make an adapter to merge the two banks centrally. I could then use a small muffler to the right, and perhaps exit on the right side of the valence ala C2.

I know Mike the Mechanic has done a TT like this, anyone thought about utilizing these for a single turbo? Mike, are you out there? Drop some pics pls :)

seems like it would work. The ones from GHL, or B&B come out the back and join there, so why not?

you just need to make a pipe that holds the turbo inlet, and then goes across to both flanges on the H/E.
