Who sells the 930s steering wheel??

Looks like our site sponser no longer carries them. I am looking for oem or replica. I have seen the oem ones on ebay for 399.00 but wondering if there are any other options. Thanks!

Performance products carries it. I installed it on my 930 and it looks awesome. You may also want to buy a gold crest since the steering wheel only has it in black on the leather itself.

The price is similar to the one you qouted.

I'm surprised Pelican no longer carries. Perhaps a call will verify.
I bought my wheel when they first became available from

There's been several threads with pics over the last year. Try a search.

I have an '86 930 with the factory four spoke wheel. Not bad, but kind of big, pretty challenging to manhandle on tight curves. Any opinions on whether the 930S wheel improves the driving experience?

If your wheel is anything like an '85 Carrera wheel then the answer is YES! One of the best upgrades IMO.

My stock wheel is pretty close to the dash. If I went with the 930S model (real one on ebay) and their associated adapter/hub, will it be closer or farther away? Should I consider an extension at the same time? Who has one of these on their late model Targa?

You may want to consider the quick release mechanism discussed a few days ago. I believe some will slightly extend the wheel and act as an excellent theft deterrent.
