what dash trim material for 72/73 911S, RS, RSR?
Hey guys, I need to know what dash trim material was used on the 73 era 911S, RS, and RSR models....?
Want to put the right stuff on some builds we're doing... TIA! |

I am not sure but I think the RSRs had the same leather dash as the normal 911s.
I say go with Alcantara... reduces the reflection and is really nice. I am thinking of doing that myself. I'll be the guinea pig.... if you want :D |
Here's some pics of a real RSR dash. It's basically the same as the normal 911 with the different tach and speedo. In addition the clock has been replaced with a clock delete, the ash tray is gone as is the glove box door and radio.

72/73 dash, door panel, and seat material is no longer available....at least if your trying to be EXACT...
The closest from what I've heard is the 1988 vinyl. E |

The car in the photo is not mine. It is a real RSR that has been restored to concours specs.
