Early Porsche 911 Rear Seat removal.

Does anyone know how to take out the rear seats on a 1969 Porsche 911, The two pivot screws are impossible to move which are on the right and left side of the car seat, so the seat can move up and down. Also at the other pivot point is just and open circle, almost like and allen key (hex) but just a circle. Any information would be very appericated. I tried with a flat head but it breaks the metal of the screw.

Are you taking about the screw that goes here?

That was easier than the seatbelt one but I went to Home Depot, bought the biggest flat head I could find and then used a pipe wrench on the end of that to give me just enough to get it free. I also soaked with WD-40 before that.

There is a tool you may want to add to your quiver. Its called an impact driver.not too expensive, get it on ebay. It's design to be hit with a hammer. Then apply that force into rotational force. Also buy some penetrating oil, it works ton's better than
WD-40.
