Do 2.7 cylinders fit on a 2.4 CIS engine block / crank?
Hello,...I'm looking for options to improve a bad engine that was sold to me from an certain individual in jacksonville Florida. I am curious if 2.7 cylinders and pistons will fit on my 2.4 cis engine. Else if somebody has pistons that will improve my life and are something other than the low compression 2.4 pistons then let me know.

the block can be modified by a reputable porsche experienced machine shop with larger bores for the 2.7. However you will also need to have other things done as as precaution
time serts for the heads , intermediate shaft stud, and a bunch of other ones on the case halves. then there is the oil bypass modification for better circulation, a check on the line bore to see if it is straight, decking - say about $750-950 at the machine shop by the time they are done getting the case ready for you |
2.4 CIS? When/what is this?

Luke 1973 1/2 911 T was CIS. Factory warranty paid 55min to replace the air boxes, after the first 20 or so I got down to about a 1hr. Jay Moore.
