Abby 1030 face off 1230 at the local pub home by 145ish and I cant sleep for a while... i have three games in 3 nights this week too!

I know how it goes. The adrenalin kicks in and you end up watching TV until 2-3 am.

exactly, I have seen every episode of Law and Order SVU becasue its on weeknights starting at 130 am here. I just tend to miss the last 5 minutes sometimes

Played hockey since I was six, got to see alot of the world because of it, and even as washed up oldie, still love to play...

you got me beat, I started on skates at 6 but I didnt play organized until 10 and hell I am only 41 ... I got a brand new career when I tunred 40 and became a rookie in the over 40's

People laugh at my clear tuuk holder ( I only have one clear one left, I bought a box of them about 20 years ago ) I’ve put them on every pair of skates I have used since then but the guy who sharpens my blades tells me they're coming back in style!

Oh, I loved the clear Tuuks. That and the Gretzky blue Perfecta blades..I was a goalie for Jr A and college. No more! My turn on the other side of the shot...

i had the perfecta in white I got them at a place on the Canadian side of Niagra called Copulo's they used to advertise heavy in the Hockey News in the 70's and early 80's

Cool. The vintage hockey stuff was great, not so space-age...Although the new stuff is lighter and more protective for sure..

sorry about the hijack... yea I am total not even old school its like ancient school. I just like the old stuff better. I had to replace the skates a few years back so I asked the guy who I have always bought my stuff from about new CCM’s… They don’t even make a Super Tack anymore. WTF they made them for decades now what? I would not ware a pair of silver colored skates… The assistant golf pro at my club is also a rep for GRAF who, thank goodness still makes normal skates. In fact you can get them without any blade holder at all which was exactly what I wanted so I could have them slap my old clear ones on with some fresh steel. Thank goodness they sill make plain old 280 sized steel for Tuuks.
