Is this the right distributor?
I want to put a pertronix ignitor kit in my 73.5 T but I'm not sure which one I need. My dizzy says... 0 231 169 008. Yes I'm pretty darn sure it's an 8 not a 3 even though it's backward in my mirror-on-a-stick. Anyone know what my dizzy is from and what ignitor fits?

According to the Pertronix catalog up to May 73 you need their #1863. After, you need #1867. In a crossreference to the distributor neither of those Pertronix fit an"008". The 1863 fits a 72-73 OO3 Bosch however. Make sure its an 8 not a 3. If it is an 8 then someone has changed the distributor and you will need a cross reference to find the right kit. Good Luck.

Thanks jstobo. Does anyone know how to cross reference this dizzy? Pelican has in the ignitor listing a few dizzy part numbers and 008 is between the numbers, but not specifically mentioned. I searched and found a link to bosch but I don't see how to look up application by part number.
