Needed: place to do a PPI in Vancouver

Anyone recommend a good place to do a PPI on an early car? I'm potentially looking at a '1970 911T that looks to be mostly original but with rust issues.
I need a good shop familiar with the older cars and ability to see how bad the rust is.

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response.
This is not a dealer car, it's a private sale. Which of these shops listed is better for looking at rust on an early car?

Thanks again.

I think if you want a good opinion as to how bad the rust is you should have it taken to a reputable body shop as well as a repair shop. The body shop should be able to give you a solid opinion as they would be the ones having to do the work. My two cents.

I used Scan for a PPI and they were quick, thorough and charged $180. I'd use them again. Looking through my records I found their report. It has 69 points of inspection and 1 page where the body condition is discussed. I was looking at an 86 non-sunroof coupe that I ultimately passed on due to bad leakdown #'s. Because the 70T is not galvanized I'd ask what they look for as far as rust is concerned. Some rust issues don't become evident until you start pulling panels off. Good luck.

+3 for SCAN - Andy will give the the straight story.

I think I know the car, an acquaintance of my parent's got a hold of me for some opinions. I never got to see it in person but I did see a bunch of photographs and the net results was that the car was fairly rusty, with a paint job over top. It needed some carb work too.

It may be a different car...is the car in question silver? There's not all that many early 911 for sale in the area, so chances are it' s the same one.
Do check it out though.....please don't let me talk you out of what may be a worthwhile car.
