Mixture may be slightly rich. Does this condition go away when the car is warmed up? Have you tested fuel pressures?

If the problem doesn't go away when warm, it's most likely not the WUR. I would bring the thing to a shop that has an exhaust gas analyzer and have them set the mixture for you. If you want to dink with it yourself a little, get a 3 mm allen screw and try turning the mixture screw out (lean out) by 1\16 turn increments. the mixture screw is through a small hole between the fuel distributor body and the rubber intake boot. A search here will turn up lots of info. HTH,

I have already tried adjusting rich to lean ...the problem remains at both extremes.

I'd strongly advise checking your fuel pressures. This is the first step in baselining the system. You'll need a fuel pressure gauge to test. I believe Pelican carries them. For info on how to test pressures and other CIS stuff, check Jim Williams' excellent site at http://members.rennlist.com/jimwms/CIS/CIShome.html.

Mmmm...

WHY did you replace the WUR? Were you having this problem and tried replacing the WUR to rectify it or were you trying to fix another problem and this is a NEW issue?

My mech told me to replace the WUR without an inspection. The car was having a backfire problem when boosting...low and behold replacing it did no good so I put new cap, rotor, wires and plugs in it. The plugs that were in the car were the wrong ones and were black as night. It now has the proper plugs in it. WD3p0 I believe ..could be off on the # but they are the right ones..and I did make sure of gapping before I put them in

seems like I'm having same problem. Car starts fine and idles right at 950-1000 on a cold start. After engines warmed up (5-10min) car won't idle right, and begins hunting only to end up dropping the rpms too low, causing red engine light to come on then dying.
Wur? Co? Idle? ideas?
