Rear tow hook placement on '87

Was at the track this weekend and the track officials asked that all participants put their tow hooks on. I know the front tow hooks are below the front spoiler, but where does the rear ones go on an '87 911. Pre 87 911's have a hole next to the rear bumperettes.

Any idea?

Do you have a link to the Weltmeister rear hook? I've seen the front ones that mount under the body to tie the car down, and the rear one that mounts to the engine mount, but nothing that mounts to the rear bumper shocks.

Tow hook sources. The hooks to the rear shocks are not advertised as tow hooks but tie downs. They are difficult to get to if you car is stuck in a sand trap so I would opt for one mounted to the engine or back of the tub.

Do you have the stock bumpers?

I also came across this one: http://www.*****************.com/product_p/kla.944.020.htm.

Not sure if it will pull the bumper off the car or not if you're really buried in the gravel.

The KLA tow hook looks nice. I spoke with them and they are getting orders for them by the 944 community, but only a few from 911 owners. I ordered two and I'll see how they work on my stock bumpers.
