question about fender flares

This maybe common knowledge, but I need some clarity here! Are SC and C2 rear flares the same? I have someone w/ a pair of 9" SC flares they want to get rid of and was wondering if there was any difference. Like I said, it is probably common knowledge but wanted to go for something a bit wider in the back of my narrow 77S without being totally turbo looking. Thanks in advance.

Don,
Thanks, that is what I thought but just wanted to double check. I hated to post such a silly question, but didn't want to get stuck w/ a set of flares I didn't need either. Thanks.
Matt

Yes, the 964 9" flare is the same as the SC/Carrera 9" flare, except for the torsion bar holes, SC are small, Carrera are large, 964 dna

Bill,
Thanks. My plan is to do the C2 rears w/ the C2 rockers and just wanted to make sure they would all mate up when all was said and done. Those rockers would cover the torsion holes if I am not mistaken.

To recap what Bill said,

If you use a C2 flare on a 915 or G50 equipped SC or carrera you will not be able to take out your torsion bars to do suspension updates. The C2 had coil-overs so the rorsion bar access holes did not apply.

they will physically fit the car and look the same.

Beware!

Jamie,
Yes, you are correct! I am looking into different mods now b/f paint to alleviate that problem. I need to figure a way to make the rockers removeable. The C2 underneath looks totally different than the earlier 911's with a tab setup and these clips that lock the rocker in for removal. I know of people that have done everything from glue them on to velcro and tape them on. At the end of the day, i just want to be able to unbolt them to have torsion access if I ever need it. Other than taking the torch out and welding on mounting clips, I see no easy way other than above around the rocker dilemma. Ideas anyone?
