Need help to ID Engine # *6304153*

Just picked a parts car today, chassis # 9113500042 titled as a '74. The number seems to indicate it is a very early '73 production "T".

The first thing I noticed about the engine was the red fan shroud. The engine number is *6304153* and has CIS injection. The only number I found in the red book may indicate it is a '79/'80 SC engine.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!!

Glenn

Your analysis of those numbers is correct.
What kind of help are you looking for?

If I am reading my cheat sheet right, looks like a 1980 ROW 911SC.

Thanks Sandy & Tom!!

Well this is a new ball game for me with such a "new" engine. I will have to read up on it and try to understand what the heck I've got! :-}

Thanks again,

Glenn

A 73T with a ROW SC engine is an AWESOME combination. Congrats.
