smog pump

I have a 79 911SC with a smog pump insalled. Well actually it is no longer installed cause I took it off. Has anyone removed their smog pump and still passed a smog check? I'll be taking it to a test only station.
Thanks Elliot

Fly,

You won't pass the visual (yes they check ) so make sure it is installed and working.

Good luck, Dave

It passed the visual OK but didn't pass the CO% test. I guess I'll be putting the pump back on. I just hope it passes with the pump reinstalled.
Cheers, Elliot

Now I know why I left the pump off. What a PITA to reinstall!! I almost forgot the vacuum line. Thanks for the advice. I'll test it again tomorrow. The pump is quite ovious. I have no idea how it was missed.

Cheers, Elliot
