Issues with my alram, interior lights....
First of all let me say that this board is brilliant! Wow!
Okay, I am having a problem with my 1990 911 C2. All of a sudden, my alarm is going off randomly. There are a few things I noticed... When I lock my doors, my knobs are not blinking red lights. They are on constantly red. AND my interior light is not working. I looked at the fuse box, and these 2 are on the same fuse, but the fuse looks fine. I took my Lil Red Girl down to the local battery place. They hooked up a gizmo, and told me that the battery (not 2 years old) is fine. They had me start the car up, and all was well. Yes, I am a chick. I have a minor knowledge of cars, and I don't mind getting dirty. Any suggestions? I am willing to try anything myself. Thanks! }:> TeeJay p.s. Any suggestions of good mechanics in L.A. appreciated. I have been to Don & Ariel's (overcharge, take forever), and Bev Hills Porsche (all about the up-sell, and take too long). Went to Tom at German Motor Cars in Santa Clarita (on a recommendation), he was great, but I live in Hollywood. I will definitely go back to Tom, if I can't fix it myself. |
