I stopped in to NAPA to buy some R134 compatible oil for the A/C rebuild project in my '88 Carrera. What I discovered is that there are different viscosities available.
What viscosity oil do I need to use?

I used a synthetic oil make by Mastercool called ROK OIL. It was compatible with anything. If you cannot find that, use a esther oil, not pag.

I'm assuming your car has a Nippondenso compressor (models: 10P, 6E or 6F); if you're staying with PAG oil, a viscosity of 46 is required. Jim
