While on the subject of front spoilers, rear wings and aerodynamics, what.....
effect are you guys seeing who have installed RS or IROC style front bumpers/airdams. Any noticeable difference or problems associated with oil cooler openings vs. no iopenining?
I would assume at a minimum a ducktail would be adviseable. What I'm really interested in is the effect of the big oil cooler opening allowing a lot of air under the car. Thx in advance for your input..... |

The oil cooler opening is small compared the the rest of the front spoiler which is keeping air out from under the car. The oil cooler is also not an open hole and will have some resistance to air flowing through it, as the open space in the cooler is smaller than the opening. The net effect, IMO, is that a solid front spoiler would be more effective than one with an exposed oil cooler, but they are both so much better than no spoiler at all that the difference might not be that significant.
