Can't find this part in Pelican. What is it called?
Hey Guys,
This is really easy but I can't seem to find this part anywhere on the pelican website. What is the real name for the black (fuse/relay) box that sits in the engine compartment. It is rather large and triangular in shape? |
the whole thing is called an electrical panel I think
|
Do you need the whole box?

The metal chassis base is called "relay mount plate"; PN: 911.610.103.03 lists for $34.80.
The black plastic cover is called "relay plate cover"; PN: 930.610.105.03 lists for $18.10. The cover is attached by two 6 x 12 "winged screws"; PN:900.029.102.02 list for $1.56 each. |
Funny, those "winged screws" have gone for up to $15 each on Ebay. The cover for more than double of new...
|
Yes, eBay is a strange place sometimes. Expensive place for the lazy.
I just bought the cover and the screws for my '72 - they were still available... -Wayne |
Thanks Jim.
Wayne, what section did this part fall under? The only way I can find it is to type the factory part number into the search engine, and it won't let me add it to my project list either. I am only looking for the black cover, however I just want to verify that they were always the same throughout the years. I guess my old base plate would be a 75. Will this fit? |
