Interested in pics of "minimalist" interiors...

Before you guys yell at me about the search function being my friend, I've tried but apparently can't figure out the exact terms I need

Looking for ideas on what others have done beyond RS door panels, etc. primarily on street cars....although dedicated track cars might be inspiring as well.

Thanks in advance...

The dash is just plain felt, held on with a few pieces of velcro. The yellow around the guages is remnants of the original color.

My interior is POR 15 grey with a hint of champagne leather. The SRDs get replaced with an SPG for the track.

When you use the door panel you have how hard is it to hook the red pull handle to open the door?

I installed it a while back but don't recall any problems hooking up the handle.

Widebody--that ain't minimalist, its existentialist

lally---very clean...does that car see street duty or is it track only?

len---thanks for the pic. Gives me a better idea on the "knee" bar placement. What's the dash around the instruments made of?

Somewhere in here someone has posted a pic of a silver 930 with all carpet, etc removed, yet very clean looking. That's one I wanted some detailed pics of.

Thanks

It is just the OEM dash minus the leather and ACE yellow paint Lou

Its still street legal (barely) but is mostly used for the track. The suspension is pretty stiff for the street.

I chipped off all the undercoating then painted it with POR15 which flows out to a real smooth surface.

Can't remember whose off hand but, theres' a silver 930 on the board that has a really sweet, purposeful looking interior. Nothing in there that doesn't need to be. There are links to his car in his signature.

I think you are talking about Zack's car:

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2166862

He is a buddy of mine. He just had the whole car painted not too long ago. I know he said stripping out everything was a pain. (i got strip out everything here in soon to put in a rsr carpet kit)

He is a good guy, i am sure he would take some pictures for you if you wanted.

You want to look at Grant G.'s car even if it isn't really stripped. Pics are in the Ken's post just above, and other should be here or on Rennlist. It was in Excl. a couple years ago and has a lot of CF thru-out the car.
