1988 911 Photos

Somewhat new to the board and fortunately no problems which beg for help at the present....just posting photos.

I previously owned a 75 911s, but the worries of keeping that beautiful body perfect always tainted my hopes for frequent use...the pregalvanized frame also kept me in most winter months. It only had 78k miles and looked just as unused.

Now I have an 88 911 coupe and really enjoy having a bit more car and all the conveniences and upgrades the next 10 years brought to the 911. The engine and tranny are in great condition so the interior refurb is where I'll start.

This is a great forum and I am always impressed by how much time and thought Pelican reads will donate to the cause. Thank you in advance...I am sure I will be needing you.

If anyone on the board is in the Roanoke, VA area, I would love to hear from you.

Amen - an 88 is a perfectly acceptable alternative although when your first choice 87 is not available...

Didn't mean to start an pissing contest....guess I did not realize how jealous those that had to settle for an 87 would be! Thanks for the comments and for taking the time to look. Anyone with interior replacement advice would be welcome to make suggestions. My carpeting is a 'plush' that has turned a bit nappy in places. I am going with a more compact option once I finalize the plan. Seal replacement this winter and I am sure by then the engine will beg for SOMETHING.
