Worst lettering on RSR Clone
 

Check out the lettering on the side of this "RSR" clone - isn't it supposed to say "Carrera"?

Looks like the 'O' could be misread as an 'A' or Parsche...

... or even worse: "Porsch" or "Carerra" :)

I live about 2 miles from that dealer... I thought about stopping in and checking that car out... not that I could afford it or anything... hehehe

Is that the worst thing you see on this car? It's a decal. It comes off. OTOH, it's advertised as a track car so it might be missing some of the amenities and legalities of comfortable street driving (e.g. street-size torsion and sway bars).

It's slightly creative. It's been suggested that I do that with "Pelican" down the side of my car. Now that I see that, I definitely won't.

Interesting how the displacement / case of the engine was left out of the description...

Why would you expect a Porsche to be done right in "Corvette Country?"

It doesn't look too bad other than horrible lettering, it's too narrow and too pricey.

Well, if anyone were seriously interested in that car, I live really close. if I had a reason to go check it out... hehehe

They did not do the car. Cs motor sports in wisconsin did the tranny (good shop) and the engine was done in Minnesota so maybe just maybe it was built in my neck of the woods and someone thought it looked good (not me) then did not like it so traded it in on a corvette

Period correct BBS gold center wheels - period correct for 1982. But perhaps we're being too harsh. Someone is trying to capitalize upon the insatiable demand for 73RS clones.
